Finally, a new post:-) First, a big thanks to all of you who listened to the first single from our soon to be released EP of Christian music! I was really blessed by the comments and emails I received. We are finishing the very last song, so it should all be up on itunes within a few weeks. There is lots of variety–everything from R&B gospel to acoustic piano/vocal, so we hope you will check it out!
On to the new roosters! I searched and searched for some square rooster plates to use with these square rattan chargers I love so much. I also wanted something I could use with the Mikasa “Brava Rooster” I already have. I finally decided on these Geoffrey Allen “Lille Rooster” plates by Certified International, and I could not be happier!! I bought them from CSN (Wayfair), 4 dinner plates for $33! You cannot beat that!
You can see I have made a few changes in here, which I will blog about later…
I made a creamy matelasse runner, which I just love and used hydrangeas from the garden in my 100-year-old basket.
The rooster salt and pepper belonged to my grandmother.
I love how these plates go so nicely with my Mikasa “Brava Rooster” mugs. I can also use the matching salad plates and bowls.
I stumbled on this fabric at a local fabric store and it has been fabulous for everyday napkins. It does not wrinkle, and the texture is just perfect for a napkin. These are the same bamboo napkin rings I use for everyday from BBB.
These pumpkins were the most awful shade of orange and brown ever, so I painted them a creamy white and used green and brown for some detail. I just love how they turned out!
These plates come in blue…
red…
gold…
and green.
I desperately want to paint these doors black or really dark brown. What do you think?? The white is just looking so unfinished to me.
I love these plates, and so does my husband. You never know what they will like:-) They are still available on the CSN, now Wayfair, website so go over and pick some up!
I’ll be linking up with Susan’s “Tablescape Thursday” at BNOTP so go by there and see some beautiful tablescapes!
Thanks SO much for stopping by:-) I have enjoyed getting around to all of you who have left comments, and I’m almost caught up. See you soon!!

Anita — I LOVE these roosters!! I recently bought a set of roosters salad plates at TJ Maxx. I got them because they are square and go with my Mikasa Brava in Sage Green Square Dinner Plates — can't wait to get them on a table 🙂
Blessings!
Gail
Well Anita, you know I love me some roosters. I loved your new release, it sounded beautiful and you look beautiful on the cover. Your table is fabulous!
This is such a pretty and cozy table, Anita! The plates are so cute and I love the touches of fall with the pumpkins and faded flowers. Well done!!
XO,
Jane
Another wonderful table and the new dishes are gorgeous. All the details, like painting the pumpkins, really tie it all up into a perfect arrangement. I am still enjoying your single, have it on my sidebar. 🙂 xo,
Thanks for stopping by my new blog and introducing yourself. I'm glad you found me! I just took a look at your post today and am so impressed with your pretty Fall table setting. I will stop and look around on your blog while I'm here. We can follow each others blogs now!
I love this tablescape. Roosters are just perfect for fall-there is something so cozy about them. These plates are perfect with your square chargers. I like how you painted the pumpkins too.
Those red check napkins really set off your rooster flock.I like the runner in combination with the chargers, too.
Nice warm autumn table, Anita. I love those rooster plates! Gorgeous basket of hydrangeas…sadly mine all dried up with so little rain this summer.
Your fall table is gorgeous! I love the red check napkins ~ they are perfect with your rooster dishes!
Beautiful table, as always. Love the plates and the rattan chargers together. I agree with you that the doors need to be another colour other than white. Sometimes people paint them the same as the walls. It'll be interesting to see what you decide. have a great day! Blessings, Pamela
Everything looks so beautiful!!!! Only you would set out to find square rooster plates and find the perfect ones!!! Those look fantastic! I love your new corner hutches!!!! They turned out beautifully!! I don't know about the doors Anita. I think if you do them a dark color then you will have a lot of dark pieces in your room. I think they look nice with everything. I feel that I can say that to you as we go back to RMS days!!! Ha! I think the thing that I love best about your tables are the memories you have with all of the items like the basket and the salt and pepper shakers. That is what makes it so special!
I'm popping over from Susan's TTT. What a beautifully set table you have. Love the roosters, your napkins stole my heart, I've got to get busy and make me some checked ones.. hugs ~lynne~
I am a sucker for roosters, and those are gorgeous! I have to tell you, though, your dining room is amazing! I love that fabulous table, too. The room is so warm and inviting.

Beautiful table setting, Anita. Love those rooster dishes.
I love the colors in your setting. Just beautiful. Love your runner and new napkins…very very pretty.
This might sound screwy, but for the doors, I would paint some poster boards, cut them into strips the width of the door moldings, and tape them up for a 'dry run'. Then I would play with some tablescapes to see if I liked the way that they play against a new color. I also might try a gray/beige…or a clotted cream wiped with a greige glaze. Of course, I'm just seeing colors on a computer monitor, so I could totally be off base. Anyway, some color, might even be the white that is already there, is going to make your tablescapes pop. I'm on my way to check out the CSN site. Thanks for sharing another lovely design. Cherry Kay
What a beautiful Fall table, Anita. I love all the warm elements on it….Christine

Wow, Anita, those DO go great with the mugs! I love that the rims are all different. It jazzes up the whole look! Congratulations on the success of your music "preview." I know it will do great on the market! Have a wonderful weekend!
It's so good to see you back at the table. It's a wonderful season to do it, too, isn't it?
I love the roosters, both the ones on the plates and your grandmother's S/P shakers. I really like it that they come in different colors. That makes the table yet more special, IMO.
I've asked my daughter to help me get your music!
Oh pretty — roosters, plaid, pumpkins and lot's of texture on your table makes for a delightful tablescape.
Oh, Anita the table setting is gorgeous and so autumnal. Great choice on those plates.
Hi Anita-
I'm a little late but I'm glad I came by! Those plates are so cute- I love the designs and colors! Your paint job on the little pumpkins came out great! How lucky that the coffee mugs by Mikasa work well with these dishes too! I love the napkins and your runner. I think the idea for black will look really nice on your doors.
