Spring Blooms

I have been bringing in budding tree branches and shrubs every spring for years.

And the only difference this year is, instead of bringing in the yellow Forsythia “Yellow Bells,” I clipped some branches off my grandmother’s “Weeping Cherry” tree. They are just buds now, but still so pretty and fresh.

I just placed them in blue Mason jars on my punch bowl tray along with some crystal candle holders I found at my mother’s house.

The pear buds have bloomed out too…

Just a simple but pretty and alive little arrangement for spring.

Spring also means lots of outdoor work repairing the damage from winter, which here in the mountains can be pretty harsh. I have been outside dividing and transplanting daylilies, which has turned into so much more work than I thought it would be. But, they will be beautiful in a few months.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Anita, how beautiful! This makes me want to go back to the old house and clip some branches! There is nothing better than real, fresh blooms, inside, for Spring. Love the tray too. Don't work too hard those daylillies can be tough. XO, Pinky

Simply, naturally, and Mason jar blue beautiful. I love the silver tray and crystal chandelier backdrop. As soon as I finish typing this comment I am heading out the back door in pursuit of clippings. Nature is the best arts, crafts, and floral shop!

Your branch display is so pretty on the table. I don't think mine have any buds on them yet, but I'll be running outside to check.
