I finally took down the evergreen and magnolia wreath that had been on the front porch since December and replaced it with one for spring.
I wanted only natural elements, so I brought back this rustic grapevine wreath I made last fall.
I almost threw it in the compost, but I’m so glad I didn’t. Here is how it looked last fall.
What a beautiful reminder that spring is coming…
…and all the bare branches will once again come to life.
The promise of Easter:-)
I’ll be joining:
Very pretty Anita! Love the simplicity!
Thank you Martina! I wanted something different:-)
Reminds me of the crown of thorns in a way. Simply pretty.
I thought that also after I saw the photos:-) Thank you!
Very much the kind of thing I'm leaning toward these days. I really love it.
Thank you Debbie!!
how interesting the grape vines were still leafed out and incorporated into the décor. I just love it and if they spring out leaves again this spring? MAGICAL. thank you for the thought…….provoking more thought

Anita preciosa! You are so talented, I love your shrubbery work on the wreath and perfect for your porch. They are so charming, I love them all! You know, as soon as I saw the wreath, I thought: 'I'd like that on my front door!'
Thank you for your sweet wishes, amiguita! Nunca te pregunte de donde eres?…de Cuba? de Mexico? de donde? jejeje

P.S. While I like a lot of your photos, the photo of your Grandfather's store is simply stunning. Wow. Your blog is so much more "advanced" infant blog, that I may have to turn to you for advice 🙂
Your little rustic wreath looks lovely on the porch Anita. I am beyond excited that Spring is only 18 days away. The maples and Kwanzan cherry trees are already blooming here.
This really captures the "truly authentic American country style" you speak of in your header. It's so simple, yet so beautiful.
I really like your spring wreath! It's so simple and rustic…perfect for spring.
I saw you linking at Project Inspire{d}.
