Thanks to all of you who have left comments about my husband’s injury. We are both thankful for your thoughts and prayers.
We were honestly expecting the healing process to move a little faster than it has. He is still in a lot of pain and having issues with feeling in his fingers and the healing of the wound. Considering he is a guitarist, it is devastating for him. He had two weeks off from playing our Wednesday night youth worship service, and I really thought he would be better and able to play by next Wednesday. It just doesn’t look like there is any way he will be playing soon. He does have an appointment with his doctor tomorrow, so we are praying for good news.
Please continue to pray for his healing and recovery. We know God can work miracles, and Luis has more faith than *any* person I know.
As a reminder of his gift, here is a composition he wrote and recorded for his Dad’s birthday last year. He is such a talented musician in so many ways and is so ready to be back doing what he does best.
All our love and many thanks:-)
Anita
Praying that he will soon be sharing his talent and gift once again. Beautiful piece!
Thank you Gee…he is very anxious to get back to playing!
Sending prayers and positive thoughts to Luis and you, Anita. God has it covered, perhaps Luis needed a rest he did not even know he needed. xo
Thank you Barbara! We know there is a purpose in it and Luis has so much faith:-)
Lovely song. Will pray for his complete recovery.
Thank you so much for the prayers:-)
So beautiful. I adore the Spanish guitar. What a beautiful tune! What a special father and what a special son to have compiled that for him, I wish him all the best. Prayers being lifted up. Que Dios lo bendiga!
We appreciate that so very much…thank you:-)
I'm continuing to lift Luis, you and your family and the medical team up in prayer. My thoughts and prayers will continue to focus on healing. AND, I love the song. Y'all are so talented and what a blessing that is for us.
Thank you SO much Susan…it means a lot!!
Luis is so very talented, Anita. What a gift! The music is beautiful, and the video brought tears to my eyes. It's just so obvious that your husband came from good stock. What a lovely family. The joy and love burst from the screen. My prayers continue for Luis' recovery. God bless you all. ~ Nancy
Thank you Nancy…he is amazing, and I am so blessed to have him in my life. π
Praying for you and Luis, sweet friend. [hugs]
Thank you so much Diane:-)
I just listened to his beautiful playing. You are so right that it is a gift.
Something has happened in my life recently that has effected the use of the one gift that I have like that, and my heart is completely broken over it. I will be praying for Luis with a heart full of true understanding. May God very quickly restore the gift.
Oh no Debbie…I don't know if you posted about it, but I sure missed it if you did. I'm so sorry to hear that. Prayers and thoughts for you…just the thought is so hard to deal with. Thank you:-)
pretty nice blog, following π
Oh, wow. What a neat tribute!! The music was uplifting but soothing at the same time. I hope the healing process takes a turn for the better and faster soon. It is a shame that Luis is unable to share his gift right now, but I have every confidence that opportunity will be returned to him…with an upgrade for his inconvenience! π (Although I really don't know how his music could possibly be improved upon. He really has a fabulous talent!!!)
Thinking of you guys, praying for healing & patience, and wishing you both a restful weekend.
