This is a day so many think about parties, cookouts, family, and other fun activities we have available here in America. I can’t help but think about the price that was paid for the freedoms we enjoy.
I’m not sure this generation realizes what we have and how important it is to preserve it.
I, however, am truly thankful for each and every person who has made freedom possible throughout the history of this great nation including our veterans, statesmen and patriots.
There are also the unsung heroes — family members and friends left at home as loved ones went away to serve. They too made great sacrifices for our freedom. Think about them today as we celebrate another year of freedom.

What a beautiful tribute to those who have served to defend so that we may have the freedoms we so enjoy. BTW, your quilt looks beautiful with your blue and white and your photos are wonderful.

So many have sacrificed and continue to do so on a daily basis for our freedom. Today I think of that.. I am thankful for that. I never forget that we enjoy what we do today because of the brave!
