Luis captured this beautiful photo last night on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Waynesville, N.C., using a Canon Rebel T3 with a Canon 75-300 mm lens.
“…When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
You have made them a little lower than the angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!”
(From Psalm 8)

These glorious mountains are amazing and even more so with a super moon. How anyone can see this and not believe is beyond me… By the way, my sister is a new follower. She and her husband just bought a home in WNC close to Balsam.
I wish you a blessed week ahead.
Oh Anita, that is amazing. I took a picture with my phone and it sure is nothing like this!!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Unbelievable! What a stunning photo. My husband and I saw the moon and chased the moon, but our photo was not nearly as gorgeous as Luis'. We left the beach with a promise to get a lens for the camera that would really the capture the glory of the moon and the night sky next time around! 🙂
Awesome shot! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! God is so good to us to allow us to see such beauty! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Wow…..what a great shot!!!….Phenomenal photo!!!
Gorgeous photo. Luis and you are both talented photographers. And what a great choice from the Bible to go with it.
Gorgeous moon and scripture. I have tried and failed to capture the moon. Would love a tutorial on capturing the moon.
Stunning.
