Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed my early spring tour last week. I think that was the first spring tour I didn’t have forsythia or pear blooms, but it seems everything is late this year☺️
I wanted to share some spring table inspiration with some of the many tables I’ve set in the past. Since 2009, there have obviously been a lot of tablescapes here, and I love to look back for inspiration for new settings. It’s funny how I forget about some of them until I start scrolling through photos. Some of these are old, so bear with the early photography☺️
I have always loved a pretty table, and when I first started blogging, that’s what I focused on.
My kids were little, and after church on Sundays, my parents would frequently come for dinner, and my mother and I loved collecting pretty linens, dishes and glassware to use.
Even a simple table can be fancy and pretty. I always use cloth napkins, and still switch out my daily dinnerware with the seasons.
We have always loved to eat out on the porch here. In the spring, it’s cool enough to be outside, and the bugs are not yet around to disturb us☺️
As you can see, I reuse a lot of the same items but style them with something different so they look fresh and new. I love to try combinations that I think might not work and am usually surprised by the outcome.
On this particular table, I used vintage Indian sarees for the color inspiration with this vintage Noritake inherited china pattern, which is still a favorite.
This table was a simple Easter setting I created after a particularly busy and involved musical presentation I put together for church. Again, simple can be so very pretty.
All these tables and more are linked under the Tablescape tab, so click on the link to browse through lots more inspiration☺️
Do you have a favorite table out of these? I love them all, really, and need to get busy setting some more pretty tables this season. I encourage you to use your pretty things every day, because every day is a special gift to embrace and enjoy❤️❤️❤️
I’ll be joining:

Thank you so much for that!! I hope something I share inspires creativity☺️☺️
Sometimes I forget how very much I love this sort of home decor. We are visiting Tennessee staying in a log home. So to view this now speaks to my heart. Thank you so much.

I love them all, but I have to say the porch tables are my favorite. Your beautiful tables set against nature are hard to beat. I love your style and look forward to more lovely tables to inspire us.

I have always loved your Tablescapes and have pinned many of them over the years as I too love to set the table for dinners, parties, friends luncheons, holidays, etc… Where do you keep all your dishes and accessories that you use for your Tablescapes.
Thanks, Robin
