The pink kitchen

Well hello everyone! I wanted to pop in and share a little change I made in my kitchen😊

I am inspired frequently by fabrics and nature, and I kept thinking about pulling out the pink in the Kaufmann Queensland fabric I have in the kitchen, so I got out the leftover peachy/pink paint from the girls’ bathroom project several years ago, and started painting.

This is one of my favorite shades of pink, and is a color I found dripped on some of the trim from the old house. My grandmother loved it too. In fact, pink was her favorite color. This particular shade is “Sandy Rose Marble” in the Colorplace line that used to be at Walmart.

I just adore it. It’s such a vintage shade, and I love it paired with the gray trim from the little house and the wormy chestnut beadboard from the old house.

I only had this one wall to do, and that little pop of vintage color just gives my kitchen a whole new feel.

It’s so warm and cozy, and I know my grandmother would just love it.

And that makes me happy💖

Sometimes all it takes is a can of leftover paint to make a big difference in a room. Change does not have to cost money or be difficult.

It’s the little things friends💕

I like this color a lot. Good to see color in a kitchen. My sister in law had her kitchen pink in the '70's.
