If you have been by here much you know that I love to create centerpieces out of natural materials found on the property here. Now that Spring is here, I have been out gathering a few things!
But first, let me show you where I started from…
First, I had brown in mind and I wanted to use this little teapot from England my mom gave me.
I had the faux orchid in a pot, but really wanted something real. I decided to cut some Dogwood branches and put them in these floral tubes I had so wisely saved from some cut flowers.
I used things I already had then tied all the elements together with the addition of real branches. This is definitely not my usual style of centerpiece, but I am really enjoying something different. I might even create a tablescape around this later. You’ll have to come back Wednesday to see!
I’ll be joining Marty’s “Tabletop Tuesday” over at “A Stroll Thru Life” and Linda’s “Nifty Thrifty Tuesdays” over at “Coastal Charm” so be sure to stop by there!!
Thanks so much for stopping by my home tour! I met a lot of new people, and I cannot wait to get around to visit you all!!
Anita
Very pretty, Anita! I love the blooming branches and the teapot is fabulous!
Beautiful, Anita. What sort of branches are those…the flowers are beautiful!
XO,
Jane
I love it, Anita!
Dogwoods are my favorite and I treasure their beauty for the short time we have them every year! Sometimes I create stylized arrangements for our table and sometimes I choose to do a more organic arrangement. I need to take pictures like you do!
Have a great day!
Susan
That is absolutely beautiful Anita! And I just have to tell you how much I enjoyed the tour you gave of your home in the last post. It is all so gorgeous and it was a treat to get to see more of it! 🙂

Anita I love it!! The dogwood branches look so pretty. Martina
I can only imagine the tablescape built around this centerpiece! You have me hooked on brown hull drip dishes….my home is "autumn" inspired (my favorite season) and they would work really well, especially for Thanksgiving, which I usually host. But then you also got me hooked on Hazel Atlas crinoline/ripple dishes! What's a girl to do 🙂 xo,
What a great idea, Anita! This looks so pretty and I think suits the whole vignette. I have some Kousa Dogwood trees in my yard {nothing is doing anything yet here though}. I love seeing them in bloom, so why not bring them inside!
It‘s so nice that I found your blog about your link on Coastal Charm. So I scrolled a little and like what I see. Now I’m your new follower! 😉
Take care
Tine
I love how you used the dogwood branches!! Very pretty!
Beautiful vignette…the flowers are so pretty with the little bit of dark coloring on the tips of the petals.
Anita, Just so gorgoeus and elegant the dining room centerpiece is on your rich and warm table. I love the teapot with the willowy branches and delicate flowers. You live in such an enchanted place. Thank you for showing us a unique arrangement.I have many beautiful teapots and I would like to borrow your idea….thank you, Emelia.
Very pretty, Anita!
It's great to recycle the water tubes … they come in handy when putting together something special like this.
So lovely and delicate…
It even has an Asian flair to it!
*I hope you are having a wonderful week*
Blessings to you ~
