where I have been…enjoying the beautiful winter weather in Western North Carolina!! This 12 inches of snow is just the second round we have had in less than a week. We had another 12 inches Friday.
These buildings have been here at least 100 years and have seen more snow than this!
Remember this little bench…
Can you spot it?? There it is!
I could not even get down in front of the house to take a photo because it is too deep.
So we will definitely not be going anywhere. Even walking is too difficult because it’s too deep. My poor husband. He keeps looking at the weather in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico:-)
We went out yesterday to church then stopped to stock up on “bread and milk” because we are too far from town if we run out.
Stay safe, warm and check on anyone around you who might need assistance in this weather! If the power stays on, I’ll be able to finish getting around to visit all of you who stopped by Thursday:-)

Wonderful photos Anita! 12 inches of snow is a lot of snow!It has been cold here in Charlotte and it really cuts down on home projects that have to be done outside or in the garage. Snow started falling last night and we have about 4 inches so far. I am not planning on going anywhere. Maybe I will work on a few tablescapes. I polished all of my sterling flatware over the weekend and it looks beautiful!
These are beautiful pictures, Anita! I can't believe how deep the snow is. I would have definitely stocked up as well!
Stay warm and dry and have a relaxing day indoors!
XO,
Jane
Anita, that is a lot of snow. Great shots. We have over seven inches and now the sleet is pouring!
Dear Anita, you are in a beautiful winter wonderland! I can't believe how much snow you have there. Our winter has been very kind to us so far as we only have about 8 inches of snow on the ground – very unusual for eastern Canada. I do hope your power stays on and that you stay safe ๐ Have a blessed week! Pamela
Stay safe, we are expecting snow for 2 days tomorrow and almost didn't make my FIL viewing and funeral due to snow Friday. Your photos are great and so professional! Take care and thanks again, Emelia. PS, Good time for my family to take down Christmas stuff!
Wow — I would love to be snowed in sometime. My kids wouldn't though. Enjoy the beautiful snow! Joni
Anita…hoping your power stays on. Enjoy your snow days…we are shoveling out here on the Nebraska prairie….we got about 12-inches. It is pretty and so very quiet. Loving it!
Blessings!
Gail
What beautiful photos! I prefer snow in photos to snow in real life! LOL!
I was, indeed, wondering where you were! I would take that gorgeous snowfall over our ice any day of the year. HOW BEAUTIFUL! You captured it so well in your pictures.
Stay warm.
Hope you have plenty of hot chocolate. Snow just begs for hot chocolate.
Beautiful! You guys got quite a bit more then us! I just posted several of my own snow pics too! Glad everyone is warm and safe and enjoying the snow!
Beautiful photos. Try to stay warm and dry.
Gorgeous, Anita, but oh, am I glad we don't have that down here. Oh, so so so so glad. It's beautiful, but I literally can't take the cold at all. It goes straight through me like a knife. But I love seeing pictures of it. Thanks for sharing…
XO,

Wow! 12 inches!!! We didn't get that much here so I'm not even going to complain. I'm glad you're all safe and still with power.
Stay safe and warm.
I love it!!!! I am a bit jealous! We got ice. I would take snow any day over ice! Glad you are all home safe, sound, and snug!
It sure has been a crazy year for the snow, hasn't it? Love the pictures. We have had our share here but I am more bothered by the cold. Seems like it hasn't been a normal temperature since fall around here! The snow is beautiful to me, though!
That is a lot of snow! Enjoyed seeing your pictures, but don't want that much snow here. ๐ A few inches brings things to a crawl here. If you are snowed in with children, you have a great excuse for not getting anything done. ๐
Enjoy your weekend.
