Hi everyone! I’m finishing off the Christmas season with a couple spaces I had not shown – the front porch and the main bedroom🙂
I really went super simple this year on the porch, using mostly the exact same things as last year, but I used scarves for bows instead of the fabric bows I made – they were starting to get a little faded.
I was not even going to decorate in the main bedroom, then I decided to change out the linens – I always use this quilt that I borrow from mother, and that inspired me to add some greenery and a vintage quilt from a friend.
I have never found the right size and shape lamp font for these oil lamp brackets, so I just use candles instead. I tied red ribbons around everything as well.
Mother made the red velvet quilt, and I just love the combination of all three together, and they’re perfect for Christmas.
A great aunt gave me these embroidered pillow cases, and I thought they’d be perfect as well with the greens and reds.
I made the red and white ticking stripe cover and added red grosgrain ribbon ties.
For the mantel, I collected some greenery from outside and added pinecones.
I absolutly love this woodland kind of look with the painting created by a late relative.
Really, just a few simple touches gave this room some warmth and Christmas cheer🙂
It’s hard to believe this year is over, but they go by faster each and every year! I have to say again, I really miss the seasonal tours with the other ladies because it felt like such a community for so many years, but things change, and we have to adjust🙏
If you missed anything this Christmas, here is a link to my Christmas Kitchen.
And the living room is here.
I have a video linked with all my Christmas decor plus these two spaces, and I’ve also arranged and played Christmas carols on the piano for the entire video, which has no ads. It will be a nice, relaxing video to put up on youtube as you go about your last minute preparations.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement this last year! You are what makes blogging fun, and I certainly appreciate all of you!!
Merry Christmas friends❤️
